Ford invests in automated vehicle technology

As technology advances, Ford Motor Company has pledged $5 million to aid in the development of automated vehicle technology.

Ford will donate the funds to the American Center for Mobility (ACM) to aid their effort to develop a 500-acre testing site to develop self-driving technology. The non-profit site is expected to open its first phase in December 2017.
