Do you look forward to lunchbreak all morning? Do you anticipate where you’ll go to eat, who might join you or try to remember what you packed that morning?
For Anton Cobb the answer once a week is simple: nothing. Once a week Anton skips his lunch and donates the money to the local foodbank. He doesn’t stop there, though. Instead, he sets up a little table, complete with checkered cloth, and a sign that reads, “I am skipping lunch. So that 30 children won’t. Will you join me?”
To date, Anton has raised thousands of dollars for the Portland, Oregon, foodbank. He enjoys meeting new people, too, and telling them about the importance of feeding the areas hungry.
