The 2017 Ford Super Duty is bringing with it many changes. To start with, it will finally be shedding its heavy steel body for a lightweight aluminum one, like the F-150 did a few years ago.
This light-weighting will not only be used to improve fuel economy and power-to-weight ratio. Some of the weight lost by switching to aluminum will be re-invested into heavier-duty brakes, axles, suspension, and a fully-boxed frame.
Yet, amid these major capability improvements, Ford's tireless design and engineer teams have been making sure the interiors are up to snuff, too. That includes an innovative system that transforms two center cup holders into four! Whether the whole crew is riding along, or if it's your turn to pick up coffee, the new four-cup holder system won't let you down. Then, if you need less space for drinks, and more for your phone, wallet, or other items, it converts back into two cup holders and a storage bin.
